Terms of Service

Effective date: the launch date · Agreement between you and ScholarlyFox.

1. The service. ScholarlyFox helps you find, evaluate, and prepare scholarship applications. We are a search, matching, and preparation tool — we are not the scholarship provider, we don't award funds, and we can't guarantee you'll win anything.
2. Eligibility. You must be 16+ and provide accurate information. One account per person.
3. Your content. You own what you upload and write (resumes, essays, answers). You give us the limited license needed to store and process it to run the service — nothing more.
4. AI features. Our tools draft and coach based on the information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything you submit to a scholarship provider, and for following each provider's rules (including their rules about AI assistance). Don't use our tools to misrepresent your experiences — see the AI Use & Essay Integrity Policy.
5. Listings. We vet listings and show verification dates, but scholarship details can change without notice. Always confirm requirements and deadlines on the provider's site. We're not responsible for providers' decisions, sites, or conduct.
6. Acceptable use. No scraping, no reselling our data, no fake profiles, no attempting to access others' accounts, no using the service to spam providers, no uploading malicious files.
7. Free features; changes. The features described as free-forever in our Trust Pledge stay free. Other features may change, and we may add paid options in the future; if we do, we'll give clear notice and existing users fair treatment as described at the time.
8. Termination. You can delete your account any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Disclaimers & liability. The service is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, ScholarlyFox isn't liable for indirect damages or for outcomes of scholarship applications.
10. Copyright / DMCA. We aggregate publicly available scholarship information with attribution to providers. Notices of claimed infringement go to our designated agent: dmca@scholarlyfox.com.
